For those who like getting to the point: I'm a self proclaimed; Save the World Queen; Tree Hugger; Naturalist; Recycling Feign; Nurturer of Nature; Creator, Care Taker, and Instigator of Imaginations; Child and Animal Aficionado; Craft for Tact; Crazed Runner; Mountain Bike Trekker; Acoustic Music Enthusiast; Dirt Digging Gardener; Discriminating Rule Bender; Poet; and Best of all Mother.
Contrary to my girl-next-door looks, my past is laced with; tragedy, heartbreak, anxiety, abuse from one choosing the wrong significant other, ball busting hard work, fence straddling indecisiveness, pushing past imposed limits, proving nay-sayers wrong, crawling out of the house of self loathing, beating cancer, overcoming health concerns, you name it I've probably gone through it.
Every decision I've made has led me to where I am - where my soul needs to be. I've come to a place in my life where I can embrace my past in a non-judgemental manner, for it is through those experiences that has helped create who I am today. I can acknowledge that I learn life lessons by doing them myself! I wish I was one of those lucky ones who can learn from others, however, I haven't yet and I don't foresee this happening soon.
One of the few lessons I have learned as I meandered my way through life is - Celebrate Life! Celebrate living, breathing, seeing, hearing, smelling, feeling, and just being.
Celebrate with me as I test a few lessons. Spend some time - read, laugh, cry, and share in my adventures. Find out how many times it takes for me to succeed (I'm betting it's more then once). Maybe along the way I'll inspire you to celebrate your life.
I believe true inner peace, reconnecting to one-self, is easiest achieved while sitting on a boulder in the middle of a forest, on the edge of a mountain, or the middle of the desert.
Now go, sit, and find yourself.
